To get the full Strip District experience, plan to spend an entire weekend day -- or more -- in this neighborhood.
Or go for some of the best coffee in town at one of two spots: La Prima for old-school espresso drinks and a down-to-earth atmosphere or 21 st Street Coffeewhere they brew Intelligensia beans using a variety of trendy techniques. For many, lunch in the Strip is rooted in tradition. Two of the best are Smallman Galleywith features four restaurant concepts in a communal food hall, and Gaucho Parilla Argentinawhich showcases flavor-packed wood-fired meats and veggies.
Combine the hustle and bustle of a Turkish bazaar, the nightlife of Las Vegas, some of the finest ethnic cuisine, the fun of a street carnival, and the atmosphere of days gone by. Add to this a thriving commercial center, and what do you get? It continues to be so today.

A table of international students chows down on kofta kebabs next to a group of recent technology-sector transplants sharing a pile of lamb chops and naan. Down a few tables sits a family in traditional Middle Eastern apparel crushing hamburgers.
